i don't believe that our "path" is decided for us and i don't like the idea of not being able to decide what's best for myself, or not being able to choose my own path as i go. how can you have a path that is set out before you where things are always changing, and the future is unknown? why would you put your fate in the hands of someone else? i want to choose where i go, not have some one order me in whichever direction they think is right i don't believe that people can tell the future, because i think the future is always changing

so i finally got to go out and have fun with some friends at the movies (alice in wonderland to be exact) you'd think we would have had an awesome time, right? well we did. but in the car alone with my mom: "so, i have to ask because you're a teenager..." yeah, she really knows how to ruin a night. she also loves every kind of teenager stereotype. "i don't know...maybe friends that i don't know about...doing things..." apparently the fact that i'm smart, in a stable relationship, and have thus far proved myself responsible doesn't matter because i'm still a fucking teenager and apparently, teenager = stupid, irresponsible, horomonal
